Flowing Glass Designs

These pieces are created by arranging thick blocks of glass in a checkerboard pattern over beds of thin strands of colored glass (stringers), then firing the pieces in a kiln to fuse all the components together. When the square glass blocks melt they form the round bubble effect seen in the finished pieces.
